Protests by supporters of US President Donald Trump in Washington DC have erupted into unrest after clashes erupted between anti-apartheid activists.
Russia Today television reported the news, adding that Donald Trump supporters had staged a protest demanding vote and headed to the city’s Supreme Court building.
Supporters of extremist right-wing gangs, many of whom were armed, took part in the protest.
The protesters have clashed with a group of African Americans who had also gathered to protest against Donald Trump.
The police force was forced to intervene to quell the fighting. The US president appeared before his supporters in protest.
Trump has repeatedly said that the US electoral system is flawed and extremely destructive. White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany has claimed that more than a million Trump supporters have joined the protest.
Yet media photos show there were only a few thousand Trump supporters in the protest.
Despite US media statistics showing that, Donald Trump has lost the November 3, 2020 presidential election, but the president still insists he is the winner. He has filed a lawsuit against the election
