The Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa has given 4 days from today until November 20, for regional commissioners to go through the cement factories and warehouses to see why the price of the product has gone up without good reason.
Speaking before President John Magufuli after being sworn in as Prime Minister at the State House grounds, Chamwino in Dodoma, Minister Majaliwa questioned the reasons for the rise in cement prices when the government did not raise taxes, coal and did not make any changes.
“There is a cement plantation for no apparent reason, five years ago we made the business environment easier. We did not expect concrete to rise, Mr. President (President Magufuli) I start with that. ”
“On the 20th at 4am, my officers gave me a report to find out why the cement has gone up when the government has not raised taxes, coal. We need an explanation as to why the price of cement has gone up so much, ”said Majalia.
In addition, Majaliwa said, since one of his main tasks is to ensure the goals of the Government and the manifesto of the Revolutionary Party (CCM) 2020 – 2025 is fulfilled, he will go through every ministry to emphasize that.
Also, Minister Majaliwa thanked the MPs for approving his name as Prime Minister saying, his character is the same to listen to and serve MPs in the interest of the Nation
