The Busega District Council Administration Office Office has been handed over for use. The handover took place on Monday4, November 9, 2020. The administrative building was handed over by BMB Construction Building Contractor to Busega District Council CEO Anderson Njiginya, the event was also witnessed by NEDCo Consulting Engineer and Staff of Busega District Council.
The Busega District Council Administration Building has a total of 97 rooms with a total of 68 rooms ready for use, which is more than 70% of the entire building. The Busega District Council Administration Building began to be built in 2015 where Hon. Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania laid the foundation stone for 2016.
In addition, the completed building will cost a total of TZS 4.9 Billion solves the challenge of Busega District Council staff lacking good infrastructure and working environment, as the current building does not meet the number of staff. In addition, the handing over of the building reduces the cost of funds used to pay for the current building since the Council was established in 2013.
